Biography :

Henry M. Sobell completed his studies at Brooklyn Technical High School (1948- 1952), Columbia College (1952-1956), and the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1956-1960). Instead of practicing clinical medicine, he then went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to join Professor Alexander Rich in the Department of Biology (1960-1965), where, as a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Fellow, he learned the technique of single crystal X-ray analysis. He then joined the Chemistry Department at the University of Rochester, having been subsequently jointly appointed to both the Chemistry and Molecular Biophysics departments (the latter at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry), becoming a full tenured Professor in both departments (1965-1993). He is now retired and living in the Adirondacks in New York, USA.

Biography :

Dr. Stephen F. Amato has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Prior to his position as Faculty Director of Graduate Regulatory Affairs & Life Sciences at Northeastern University, Steve was the Founder and Managing Director of tJun17 Life Sciences, LLC, and also a Managing Director for Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences (CHRS). As an Executive Director at Anika Therapeutics Steve managed all aspects of the company's product portfolio including regulatory, reimbursement, market segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing and promotional strategies. From 2000 to 2007 he was the Group Director of Knee Repair at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy where he managed a $140 M orthopedic product portfolio. Earlier in his career, Steve worked for Visible Genetics, where he was responsible for developing and launching genomic molecular diagnostics products used for subtyping Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and other infectious disease agents. He has also worked with Critical Therapeutics on the development and commercialization of treatments for gram-negative sepsis. Steve holds an AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University, a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Boston College’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and an MBA from the Carroll School of Graduate Management at Boston College. He has also received the US and EU Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) designations and is a Consultant for the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

Swamy K B, presently working as Professor and HOD of Clinical Anatomy, Lincoln University, Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA, has been awarded PhD by Andhra University, India. He has taken his Master’s Degree MS (in Clinical Anatomy) from Andhra Medical College, India, DMCh (Maternal & Child Health) from IGNOU, New Delhi, his Medical Degree (MBBS) in 1976, He has expertise in Human Genetics, Reproductive & Developmental Anatomy and also in Herbal Medicine. He has been the genetic counselor for many institutions, with prestigious grants (FRGS,,URGS) from Malaysian Government, he has conducted many researches on Herbal Medicine and Diabetes, on “Brain size and Intelligence Quotient (IQ)”, He has been the former founder Anatomist, Professor and Head of the Department for many Medical Schools in India as well as in Malaysia. He is an International Editorial Board Member for many reputed journals like Anatomical Society of India (ASI). Recently he has been unanimously elected as an Executive Board Member for ASI and an Organizing Committee Member for the “9th Euro-Global Summit on Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology held through June 22-24, 2017 at Paris, France., 11th International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Research October 02-03, 2017 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Editor for many journals like "Novel Techniques in Nutrition and Food Science". Dr. Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO’S WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 15 books and 150 chapters in books.

Dr. Christina Leung completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated Beta Sigma Kappa from Southern California College of Optometry to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree. Her extensive training includes professional internships at the VA Medical Center of West Los Angeles, VA Ambulatory Care Center of Los Angeles, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. She has worked with the Foothill Center for the Vision Impaired and Partially Sighted and at the Low Vision Department of Rehabilitation Clinic. She has also provided eye care exams to students attending California State University, Fullerton and was involved in local school vision screening programs.Dr. Leung is a glaucoma certified optometrist licensed by the State Board of Optometry of California. She is experienced in the detection, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, allergies, and dry eyes. In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Leung is dedicated to providing quality care for patients with a wide variety of eye conditions and patients undergoing LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Leung is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), a non-surgical process to reshape the eye with therapeutic lenses during sleep to correct for nearsightedness. She is committed to providing individualized and personal care through educating her patients on their ocular health and care.

Responsibility

The organizers holds no responsibilities or liabilities of the personal articles of attendees at the venue against any kind of theft, lost, damage, due to any reason whatsoever. Delegates are entirely responsible for the safety of their own belongings.

Insurance

No insurance, of any kind, is included along with the registration in any of the events of the organization.

Transportation

Please note that transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant, Allied Academies will not be liable for any actions howsoever related to transportation and parking.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Conference Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied Academies is an objective third-party nonprofit organization and this conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference after payment of complete registration fee. Once registration is complete, please contact pharmacongress@alliedscholars.net to request for a personalized letter of invitation, if not received until one month before the scheduled date of event.

All the bank charges applicable during refund will be deducted from the account of participant.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event on the scheduled date, the participant is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within the period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

Postponement of event

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event and the participant is unable or unwilling to attend the conference on rescheduled dates, he/she is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within the period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

Transfer of registration

All registrations, after payment of complete registration fee, are transferable to other persons from the same organization, if in case the person is unable to attend the event. Request for transfer of registration must be made by the registered person in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com. Details must include the full name of replaced new registrant, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues are not covered under the cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

 Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund policies apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overhead charges, following Refund Policy Orders are available:

·         Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund after deduction of $100 towards service Fee.

·         Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

·         Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

·         E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Service Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies which are applicable when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. If in case the registrant wishes to cancel or amend the accommodation, he/ she is expected to inform the organizing authorities on a prior basis. Allied academies will advise the registrant to ensure complete awareness of the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancellation or modification of their booking.
